Terms & Conditions

Pre-booking Only

Pre-booking is essential. Participants must pre-book their class space prior to the event. We will be unable to accommodate drop-in attendances. Bookings will only be taken on acceptance of our terms and conditions

Payments

Payments should be made when booking through our online website System. Any other payments are by special arrangement only and at the owners discretion.

Sibling tickets may only be purchased alongside a fully paying child (where relevant). Siblings are defined as brothers or sisters of the fully paying child. Babies in arms up to 6 months attending with sibling are free of charge. Moo Music East Belfast reserves the right to cancel, or amend to full price, any booking which has been purchased using the incorrect rates (e.g. 2 children booked using the sibling price rather than one at full price and one at the sibling discounted rate).

Moo Music East Belfast reserves the right to cancel any bookings made where it’s apparent the use of discount codes, such as our ‘Bundles’, has been abused and used against the connected restrictions. The full definitions that apply to bundles are below:

8 Week Bundle: A discount of 15% will apply when at least 8 sessions have been purchased for a full paying child

4 Week Bundle: A discount of 10% will apply when at least 4 sessions have been purchased for a full paying child

Changing Class Times and Venues

If a class becomes too small to run we may need to merge it with another. We do our best to keep class times as similar as possible but unfortunately cannot always guarantee this. If it is not possible to merge a class it may need to be cancelled.

Class sizes are restricted and therefore if a class becomes full we will open a waiting list and make best effort to open another class to cope with demand.

Should you need to change class venues or times we will do our utmost to accommodate you, but unfortunately cannot guarantee it. Ideally you will need to have completed your current half term/term before moving onto another class venue or time.

To secure your place in a class, Moo Music East Belfast must have received payment before the class.

If due to special circumstances the normal venue is not available, and we are not aware of the  clash before booking commences, you will be credited a class, allowing you to either switch to another venue or use the credit towards a future booking. The credit will only be valid for 6 months from the clash.

Refunds and Cancellations

As per our booking policy, you may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 48 hours ahead of the class start time with no penalty. After this time, Moo Music East Belfast is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend your pre-booked class. This does not mean, however, that we will not try to accommodate you. Please get in touch in the event of emergencies or special circumstances.

In the instance that a class venue cannot be used in the short term (due to e.g. refurbishment, double booking), we will endeavour, where possible, to re-schedule your class except in adverse weather. In this instance Moo Music East Belfast is not responsible for any travel expenses incurred. If this is not possible we will offer a 1 free class voucher to be used within 6 months. This voucher has no monetary value.

When a class venue is not available on a longer term basis (in excess of one week), on public health or other grounds outside of our control except adverse weather, then we cannot be responsible for providing any further classes during that time at that venue. If this occurs and in the event that it is not possible to reschedule the classes, we will use best endeavours to either credit the unused balance of your terms fees against the future classes or as a last resort refund.

If a class is cancelled by Moo Music East Belfast due to illness, adverse weather, venue problems etc, we will endeavour to arrange a replacement session - if this is not possible, you will be credited with a class.

Adverse Weather

Moo Music East Belfast is under no obligation to refund classes that may be missed by local adverse weather when the venue and environs are safe and accessible and the classes goes ahead. We regret that we are unable to offer a refund or catch up class in the event of adverse conditions local to yourselves preventing you from attending a scheduled class. Moo Music East Belfast is under no obligation to refund or offer a free class/catch up class in the event adverse weather conditions have forced its scheduled venue to be closed.

Supervision

Please ensure that you supervise your children during the session – they love it when you join in!

Food must not be consumed during the class as we need to be considerate of allergies and the choking hazards for younger children in the class. It also adds to our extensive cleaning regime. Adults must not bring hot drinks to the class and please ensure you take responsibility for yours and your child’s own cold drinks to avoid spillages and to prevent another child from drinking from them.

We will operate a 1:1 adult-to-child ratio. Additional adults will not be able to observe classes unless authorised by the class leader prior to class. A mother with a baby in arms or sibling(s) will be considered as 1 unit.

Cleanliness and Hygiene Practices

Moo Music East Belfast places great importance on cleanliness and hygiene. We ask for your support in this. Accident happen, so please ensure you let us know if anything is accidentally soiled during class so it can be dealt with accordingly.

First Aid/Emergencies

A First Aid Kit is available in the rooms but parents and carers are reminded they must supervise their children for safety purposes.

Video and Photography

Whilst the family atmosphere we encourage at classes means that parents, grandparents and friends should feel very comfortable taking photographs or video footage, we would ask that everyone remains sensitive to the feelings of others and always stop filming should they be asked to do so and not replicate any materials unless given permission to do so. In all instances the decision of the Moo Music East Belfast Class Leader is final and you may be asked to leave if you refuse to comply.

You will be asked for permission to take photographs in session which are used for our social media. No naming, identifying or tagging with any photographs taken. If you do not want photographs taken, please make your class leader aware.

Moo Music East Belfast expressly forbids the right to reproduce any part of our lessons in any form (e.g. on the internet, DVDs, photographs etc). Anyone suspected of continually filming or photographing the lessons for any purpose of publication will be asked to stop filming and may be asked to leave the current and future classes.

All Moo Music East Belfast photography, logos and illustrations are the copyright of Moo Music Limited. Any scanning or reproduction of any of the above without our written agreement will be regarded as being in breach of our copyright and dealt with accordingly.

Moo Music East Belfast reserves the right to use photographs from classes for publicity purposes if you have agreed for us to do so. However, in each instance we will always endeavour to inform you first.

Moo Music East Belfast cannot be held liable for the actions of third parties, and, therefore excludes to the fullest extent possible by law, any liability arising from a breach of this section headed ‘Video and Photography’ by any party.

All property (including prams) left in class venues or in entrance halls or outside, is left at your own risk. Moo Music East Belfast cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions.

Illness

Should your child or the accompanying adult have, or develop, any known or suspected medical condition you must please consult your doctor before bringing them to the class and inform Moo Music East Belfast either via the email address provided on the local website or social media. All information received is treated with the strictest confidence and sensitivity.

We recommend that you never bring your child to class if they have any kind of contagious illness including: diarrhoea, chicken pox, impetigo, conjunctivitis, an ear infection or a bad cold. Please wait until the doctor has given you the all clear before returning to classes.

In the instance of sickness and/or diarrhoea your child must have been clear of all symptoms for at least 48 hours before attending a class.

Nappies and Changing your Baby

Always change your baby on the floor using a suitable changing mat or on baby changing stations provided at the venues. Do not use any raised areas such as benches, trolleys or tables. This is to prevent babies from rolling onto the floor from high surfaces which can easily happen and is extremely distressing for all concerned.

Toilets and changing facilities will vary from venue to venue so please adhere to their policies with regards to use of facilities and disposal of nappies/waste. Never leave nappies in an open bin (including those within the venue grounds).

Withdrawal of Service

Moo Music East Belfast may, at its own discretion, refuse entry of a customer to its classes if it is felt that the customers behaviour is unreasonable. We may ask customer to not return if their child’s/ren’s behaviour consistently prevents others enjoyment or in order to safeguard other children attending the class.
